EMC would be worth while if you are using anEMC setup, EG EMC SAN, so unless you are working at a company using this technology its not really worth it (even though the information learnt from this cource could be used on other devices) it would be easier doing a more generic exam.
I’m looking to move into another field in IT. The company that I’m currently working for, uses a lot of Symmetrix/DMX/Clariion/Centera. I was hoping that by getting this cert, I’d be able to move into the storage support team or even to work for EMC.
Be careful not to confuse the foundations exams, there is EMC foundations & Storage foundations, and they are different and count towards different tracks.
